BeLikeCJ Foundation Kids Fest: A Day of Smiles and Fun
On May 18th, downtown Texarkana was transformed into a vibrant playground for our Kids Fest—an unforgettable day of joy, love, and togetherness! With Cedrick, our dedicated board members, sponsors, and an amazing community coming together, the goal was simple: to create a day that would make CJ smile from above.
Families from all backgrounds united to enjoy games, laughter, and activities that brought joy to every young face. This event perfectly captured CJ’s loving spirit, making it a heartwarming reminder of the power of community and kindness. CJ’s Birthday Celebration at Crossties: Honoring Legacy and Leadership
On June 11th, we gathered at Crossties for a special evening dedicated to honoring CJ’s legacy on his birthday. Players, coaches, and community members came together to remember the remarkable student-athlete who continues to inspire us all. 3rd Annual Walk of Love: Spreading Positivity and Kindness
On September 14th, we held our 3rd Annual Walk of Love at Spring Lake Park, in collaboration with Newk’s Eatery. This was a day to inspire our youth, parents, and teachers to walk in the spirit of love—whether it’s by being a better friend, practicing patience, or getting more involved in your child’s life.
It was heartwarming to see local school districts, families, and the wider community come out and walk together for a cause that promotes love and connection. We walked not just for CJ but for all the things that make life beautiful. 🌸
🎉 New Announcement: BeLikeCJ Surge Curriculum Launch - “A BeLikeCJ Adventure” 🎉
Exciting news, everyone! We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the BeLikeCJ Foundation's mission—our BeLikeCJ Surge: Building the Foundation 7-Character Traits Curriculum, titled "A BeLikeCJ Adventure"! This innovative and engaging program is designed to inspire and empower young minds by teaching them key character traits that CJ exemplified during his life.
Mark your calendars, because the official launch of this powerful curriculum is happening on October 18th, 2024! 🎉
"A BeLikeCJ Adventure" focuses on seven key character traits:
Caring
Humility

This program is designed to help kids understand the value of these traits through fun, interactive lessons and activities that align with CJ's legacy of kindness, leadership, and community spirit.
